About us

Whats this all about then?

Creative Nudges is a 'dip-in' service that shares short creative exercises for all those that need a fast creative pick-me-up.

The idea for Creative Nudges came to me when I was delivering one of my drawing workshops.  This particular event was in Southwark Cathedral and the attendees were professionals, having been sent on the course by those further up the ladder - to try their hands at something creative.

That 'something creative' leads us on to many benefits for both business and pleasure.  Personal well-being but just one of them.

The workshop was going down  a storm, and with my gentle enthusiasm and normal gusto, the participants were in the zone and creating gorgeous works that they really had no idea that they could do in no time.

By the days end, it was said in passing that they wished that they could remember to integrate creative practises into their everyday but the likelihood of that happening was slim when they were in the full swing of work.

I made a promise then to email out a short 'Creative Nudge'  to those that signed up to my mailing list, sharing with them a creative activity/exercise that I use at my drawing-board or easel, to keep me firing on all cylinders to complete my work ahead.

The emails have been well-received and with that in mind, herewith an actual blog/website dedicated to those lovely little exercises that you can pick up at any time.

I am sure that I don't need to tell you that our collective creative minds are now one of our biggest assets here in the UK and, of course, one of our best exports.  I'm proud to share my experience and knowledge with you and encourage you to do the same, sharing the love further!
